Actively address issues of environmental sustainability, Noah remains committed to the following:
1. Comply with national environmental laws and international sustainability standards.
2. Promote environmental action plans on energy & resource conservation and emissions reduction; perform responsible waste management and examine and manage GHG emissions to reduce our environmental impacts.
3. Continuously improve and promote various environmental protection programs; utilize energy-saving products and services with low environmental impacts.
4. Establish goals and action plans to examine and reduce GHG emissions in accordance with the Paris Agreement within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the goal of which is to keep the rise in global average temperature well below 2 °C.
5. Release annual sustainability reports and update the ESG section of our website to disclose our environmental sustainability performance to external stakeholders, thereby increasing their awareness of environmental sustainability.

From the management level, our business strategy and organizational structure are designed to promote a series of environmental action plans for our offices, and we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operating processes.

Environmental Actions
Noah Forest
Since Noah’s 2010 admission to Alxa SEE (Society of Entrepreneurs and Ecology), an environmental protection non-governmental organization, as a member of its primary council, the Company has been involved in issues of public interest. In 2014, Noah participated in the “One Hundred Million Saxauls” program, whose goal was the planting of 100 million desert plants, primarily saxauls, in Alxa’s key ecological areas over ten years, in order to improve the ecology over a 1,300 km2 area while raising the living standards of local herders, who derive economic value from these plants.Till the end of 2020, we have planted 327,000 trees, achieved sand fixation of 447.87 hectares and carbon fixation of 5.853 kilotons.

In 2016, Alxa SEE established the “Noah's Ark” program. Alxa SEE wishes to build a living Noah's Ark in the plateau wetlands and virgin forests of southwest China, where enhance biodiversity of species. This program is designed to explore the possibility of harmonious interdependence between humankind and the ecosystem, to not only protect the environment and endangered wildlife, but also to benefit an increased number of people.
